Loop & Dot (the "Service") is a client-side serverless application that processes images into knitting/cross-stitch grid charts locally inside your browser. Because all calculations take place on your local machine, the Service provider does not store, transmit, or back up any of your image sources or generated pattern outputs on remote servers.

2. Local Data Control & Loss Disclaimer

Since your data resides strictly within your local environment, you hold sole responsibility for backing up your work.

Storage Mechanics: Clearing your browser cookies, cleaning site history, or purging LocalStorage data will permanently delete your stored drafts.
Data Loss Disclaimer: The Service provider shall not be liable for any loss of patterns, projects, or associated time/materials resulting from local database clearing, device loss, or browser software failures. We highly recommend using our 'Export JSON' tool regularly to secure offline backups.

3. Uploaded Assets & Copyright Responsibility

You represent and warrant that you own or possess the necessary licenses and permissions for any image files or custom font styles you upload to the Service for pattern conversion.

Indemnification: The Service provider does not inspect or audit uploaded content. Any commercial copyright liabilities, intellectual property disputes, or litigation arising from your processed designs remain strictly and exclusively with the end user who uploaded the asset.
No Guarantee: The Service operates strictly as an image conversion utility and does not guarantee copyright protection or commercial exclusivity for any generated chart.

4. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Service provider disclaims all liability for direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the website tool.
