Loop & Dot (the "Service") is a 100% serverless client-side application. We do not transmit your uploaded images, text inputs, or generated knitting chart designs to any external database or remote server. All image quantization, grid processing, and symbol mappings run locally in your browser memory and on your client-side hardware (CPU/GPU).

2. Web Browser LocalStorage Usage

To optimize user experience and draft recovery, this Service automatically stores the current state of your knitting grid (color palette, grid sizes, symbol maps) in your browser's LocalStorage.

Stored Items: Grid canvas editor state object (JSON format).
Retention Period: Persistently stored until you clear your browser cookies/cache or manually use the 'Clear All' tool in the editor workspace.
User Control: You can disable or wipe local storage files using your browser options at any time. Note that blocking LocalStorage will prevent temporary draft recovery from operating.
